Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival
Fak’ugesi is where art meets technology, and where African creators show what’s possible when they imagine beyond their circumstances. The 13th edition of the festival takes over the Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct in Braamfontein for five days of exhibitions, talks, performances, workshops and industry programmes.
This year’s theme, African Imaginaries, is built around three “frequencies”: Memory Engines, Imagination Engines and Future Engines. Expect immersive exhibitions, digital art, film and conversations with artists, technologists, designers and entrepreneurs from across the continent.
A must for anyone who likes their art with a glimpse of the future. Check the programme for workshops, as some may need registration.
