Open Community Garden Day at 12 Park Lane

On the first Saturday of every month, 12 Park Lane in Parktown opens its community garden to anyone who wants to get their hands dirty. Locals come together to grow food, learn permaculture principles, swap skills and build a greener, more connected neighbourhood.

It’s an easy, grounding way to spend a Saturday morning. You don’t need experience or your own garden, just a willingness to dig in. Gardening is one of the most natural paths into flow: slow, physical and quietly absorbing.

Free to attend. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting muddy.
