The Flow State take: Two weights on cords and an hour a week. Warning: properly addictive.
FireTribe runs beginner and intermediate poi classes every Tuesday evening at Rivonia Recreation Club. Poi is one of the easiest ways into the flow arts: two weights on cords, swung in rhythmic patterns around your body. It’s simple to start, absorbing to practise and properly addictive once it clicks.
FireTribe is one of South Africa’s best-known flow arts troupes, performing fire and LED shows around the country and teaching flow arts to all ages and levels. In class, you learn from performers who spin for a living.
Complete beginners who’ve always wanted to try, intermediate spinners looking to grow their vocabulary, and anyone after a midweek reset that isn’t a gym.
